« One who desires to draw close to Hashem must constantly seek Him in whatever place they are — and uplift that very place to a higher dimension. » (Likutey Halakhot, Rabbi Nathan of Breslov)

Seeking Hashem is not limited to holding a prayer book in a quiet synagogue. It is an inner movement, a constant search — wherever one is. Rabbi Nathan teaches us a foundational truth: the search for God happens in every place, in every situation — even the mundane, the messy, the seemingly ordinary.

This means that even at work, in the street, in moments of fatigue or irritation, it is possible to seek Hashem. And not only seek Him, but to elevate that very place — to transform the everyday into something holy. A guarded gaze, a kind word, a sincere sigh — any of these can lift the moment and the space into something higher.

One who lives this way no longer divides life into “holy” and “non-holy” moments. Their entire life becomes a place of encounter. And there, in the most ordinary places, they discover that God was already present — waiting to be found.
